It wasn't long ago that Westchase
was mostly forested and rural.
Many
of our wild friends either get
pushed out or become 'urbanized'.
Peoples
attics seem like
a cozy nesting place. Trash cans
and pet food are easy meals and
swimming pools are convenient
toilets and bathing spots.
As
harmless as their intentions may
be, some wildlife
can be extremely destructive
to your property.
The
Trapper Guy will come out and
humanely remove
the live animal
from your property. I will fix
the damage caused and make preventative
measures so they won't return.
With
proper wildlife control
we can co-exist with our wild
neighbors.

24
hour services are for emergencies
only. Live animal in a living
area where safety of the occupants
is in question is considered an
emergency.

Deer finds its
way into Westchase home

TAMPA, FL -- Frightened
and looking for an escape route, a sixty
pound young deer was found crashing
around a Westchase bedroom over the
weekend.
It became the highlight
of Marty Hauser’s day.
“I have never seen anything like it
before,” Hauser said.
Startled by the find,
Hauser captured the unexpected event
on video.
It began when a friend
of Hauser's who owns a wildlife removal
service took a call from a concerned
homeowner saying a frightened deer was
trapped in his home.
“The homeowners were
scared too, because they didn't want
their place destroyed,” Hauser said.
So with camera rolling,
Hauser and his friend entered the home
and started the search.
They found the animal
in a back bedroom. The damage was not
serious, but the deer was slightly injured
from banging around.
Hauser says his friend
tranquilized the animal and dragged
him out of the same front door the deer
came in through.
The young deer was removed
from the Westchase subdivision and returned
to the wild after the tranquilizer wore
off.
